A Day in Brighton

Have you ever visited Brighton? My partner and I decided to explore the town yet again this weekend. Interestingly, if you look it up on the internet prior to your trip, you'll find the following sentence in the description:

"Brighton has also been called the UK's "hippest city", the happiest place to live in the UK". Well, not without a reason.

To live as close as I do to this mesmerizing city is, I believe, a very lucky thing in life. I'm not quite sure what it is that is so captivating about it: the beautiful shore, the seafront breeze and views, seagulls, the little lanes with vintage shops and cafés or the colourful streets bustling with life...Might be the fact that there is something for everyone. As for me, I enjoy the overall mood, and the myriad of elaborate details, so pleasing for the eye. It invites you to look around every corner. Wherever your gaze wanders, you will notice something new: a row of houses all painted in different, vibrant colours, age-old, wrought iron gates intertwined with dark green ivy, teapots arranged neatly on a windowsill of an ancient inn or a graffiti that you mistook for a real person. No matter how many times you visit, it always holds a surprise for you.

The photos will not show much. As a matter of fact, they will let you in on only a few secrets of the town. Hopefully, it will awake your interest as to what kind of mysteries you might come across. They are just my moments, glimpses of the streets on a Saturday afternoon, but I am delighted to share them with you.
