Moments of Italian Memories

I have always longed to see Italy. We hadn't gone on a trip in long years, so it was only right last year to start thinking about a place to visit for the summer. Of course, the first wish is unavoidably turqoise waters on tropical islands, hidden waterfalls in mystical places and astonishing nature, perhaps popular metropolises with stunning sights, places and activities. Such trips, naturally, are mostly reserved for the financially heavyweight category, which we are quite far from. Hence we had to start looking at places nearer to us. What we did not wish to skimp on though was time. We both needed plenty of it to rest, and would not give up on a beautiful environment, either. After thorough research, we came across astounding views of Sardinia. Or rather, a small, hidden island above Sardinia called La Maddalena. It offered us everything we hoped for. The air, the food, nature, pearly white, sandy beaches and plenty of sunshine. Italy couldn't have been better!

Having a soft spot for this country, I instantly fell in love with Pinup Girl Clothing's Italian print Jenny skirt. It was the very first piece I bought from the company. I was as excited as a child for Christmas after placing the order and to my surprise, it was in my hands two days later. I kept it in the armchair in the bedroom, next to my bed, for a week, only watching it every day. Then I said to myself: "All right, it is time to put it away now." It was in the wardrobe for an hour, then got back into the armchair for a few more days. What can I say, it is one of the items of my wardrobe I treasure the most. I took it to Sardinia, and I also take it for a spin around the flat, the town, even to work frequently. The day these photos were taken marks another wear in the long line of occasions to come in the diary and the lifespan of this beautiful piece of clothing.
